JOB OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have a passion to dig deep into analyses to make informed recommendations and make positive contributions to Sunrise. Th by supporting the development of compensation and job leveling structures and collaborating with Sunrise’s leadership team. This role work closely with the Senior Director Compensation to bring Sunrise’s compensation support and delivery to the next level of being best in class. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of compensation-related experience and B.A. in HR or related field. Candidate must possess strong analytical, pricing modeling, and computational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed below:
• Responsible for managing pay levels and pay ranges for all CSO & regional positions, ensuring they align with industry standards and organizational goals, as well as responding to any related inquiries.
• Collaborate with Sunrise leaders and HR to create accurate and comprehensive job descriptions that reflect duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required for all CSO & regional positions.
• Engage with sales leadership to gather insights and feedback, analyze sales performance metrics, and adjust compensation structures to drive sales effectiveness and support oval organizational goals.
• Work closely with Sales to develop and update sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and motivating performance.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Executive Long-Term Incentive program, including but not limited to:
o Maintaining tracking file
o Sending annual letters to those eligible confirming they are returned signed
o Completing Annual payouts
o Completing annual audits
o Work closely with accounting on the accruals
o Answering questions as needed
• Design and implement compensation strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on compensation trends, costs, and analysis as needed.
• Address employee inquires related to compensation, explaining policies and structures clearly.
• Serve as consultant to HR and management regarding questions related to FLSA.
• Work closely with HR, finance, and management to support compensation-related initiatives and decisions.
• Respond to inquiries to Compensation mailbox within 24 hours. Add relevant items to one-time bonus for each pay period.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
• At least 4 years of expertise level experience in excel (skill assessment required)
• At least 5 years of compensation program experience is highly preferred
• Sales Compensation Plan experience preferred
• Previous experience performing FLSA job analysis, market pricing preferred
• Knowledge and practice of all compensation areas of HR, base, incentive, bonus, equity and executive compensation plans
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in human resources management or proven equivalent experience
• Certified Compensation Professional, SPHR, SCP certifications a plus
• Experience in the implementation and communication of compensation programs
• Provide customers with a high degree of accurate, insightful information
• Function as a flexible, energetic, and engaged professional to deliver consistently and reliably prompt service
• Expert-level Excel skills
• Proficiency with advanced formulas and pivot tables required
• Must be an excellent communicator (both written & oral)
• Outstanding customer service skills – commitment to consistent outstanding customer service and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
• Ability to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
• Experience with Workday a plus
