Sunrise Online Payment Portal
This easy-to-use system allows you to view statements, see payment history, receive email notifications, and make one-time and recurring payments.
Just follow these steps to enroll:
1. Look at your first billing statement
2. Find your unique enrollment key and token listed on the statement
3. Log in to the Sunrise Online Payment Portal:
- Visit the U.S. portal
- Visit the Canadian portal

How to Set Up Automatic Payments
Recurring payments are a convenient way to pay your statement—ensuring you never have to worry about late fees or mailing a check.
Below are two options to set up automatic payments:
1. Log in to the Sunrise Online Payment Portal to enroll in automatic payments (Preferred method):
2. Download and complete the applicable Authorization for Recurring Electronic Payment Form and return it to your community's business office for processing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Billing statements are typically issued on the 10th of each month. Charges for room and care services are billed in advance, and payment for room and care services are due on the 1st of each month. For example, charges for May’s room and care services would be billed on the April 10th statement and would be due May 1st. In addition to room & care charges, other ancillary services such as hair salon visits or outings will show on your statement after they are incurred. For example, the April 10th statement would show ancillary charges that were incurred in the month of March. In summary, your April 10th statement can show March ancillary charges and May’s room & care charges, all of which are due on May 1st. Payments are due on the first of the month to the address on the remittance slip of your monthly statement.
You can obtain a copy of your statement by logging into the Sunrise Online Payment Portal. The community business office can also provide a copy of your statement.
The most common reason for your statement total to fluctuate month to month is due to the number of days in the month. Additional reasons may include changes to a resident care assessment.
Please reach out to your Business Office or Executive Director to discuss specific items on your bill.
The handbill may not reflect the same number of days that are on the statement. Due to timing, the first payment may also not be listed on the statement.
First, check with your bank to see if the check has cleared your bank account. Depending on the timing of the statement run, a payment may miss being posted to the current statement. If your check has been cashed, it will appear on the following statement.
If a room or care level change happened close to a statement cycle, those changes will appear on the next statement.
Sunrise prebills for room and services for the future month, so if there are changes to the room or services, you will see those charges credited back and the new charges billed on your account.
