Do I need to wear a uniform?
Uniforms are not required. However, we do have a dress code. When working, all team members are expected to wear clothing that is clean, neatly pressed, properly fitting, and professional in appearance. 
What's the dress code?

When working, all team members are expected to wear clothing that is clean, neatly pressed, properly fitting, and professional in appearance. Appropriate clothing should be comfortable and practical. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Polos or golf-style shirts
  • Sweaters or turtlenecks
  • Slacks or khaki-style pants
  • Long- or short-sleeved blouses or shirts
  • Oxford-style shirts
  • Sunrise t-shirts 
Does Sunrise conduct drug screens?
Before beginning employment at Sunrise, you will need to pass a background check and drug screen.
What training is provided?
Our team members’ professional growth is critical to the overall success of our organization. New team members receive 50+ hours of training in their first 30 days.
What's the recruitment process?
The recruitment process consists of providing basic contact information, answering several questions around the requirements of the role, and setting up a chat to discuss additional details about joining the Sunrise team.

Am I entitled to any paid time off?
Paid time is available for eligible employees. Eligibility may vary by position, average hours worked, length of service, and/or location.
Does the compensation include a bonus or other benefits?
We offer a generous tuition reimbursement program, a long-term service recognition program, and a team member referral program. We also offer discounts on cell phone services, a subsidized gym membership, and bonuses for referrals. Details will be provided upon employment.
When are new employees eligible for benefits?
Eligible positions are eligible to receive benefits on the first day of the following month of hire. Eligibility may vary by position, average hours worked, length of service, and/or location.

COVID-19

Am I required to be vaccinated?
We require all team members to be fully vaccinated, subject to applicable laws and our accommodation process. Team members are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the requisite number of doses, in addition to any recommended booster dose(s).
What precautions are taken to prevent COVID-19 as I work with residents and other team members?
We're committed to your health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic and follow all applicable laws and guidance. We take numerous evidence-based infection control efforts to prevent the spread of infection such as supplying proper PPE, providing ongoing COVID-19 training, performing daily screenings, and using an EPA-registered, food-safe cleaner sanitizer, which has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2.
Do I have to wear a mask or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)?
All team members are required to wear a mask regardless of their vaccination status, subject to applicable laws, and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. If you do not have a mask or PPE, we can provide you with what you need to keep yourself and our residents safe.
