Two years ago, when much of the world shut down with the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sunrise team members stepped up in such a significant way.
You, our heroes in orange, have persevered through countless changes and challenges, including periods of grief and uncertainty, to continue providing top-quality personalized care and support to our cherished residents and families. You have had each other’s backs every step of the way. Throughout this time, you have regularly gone above and beyond to prioritize our residents’ overall health and well-being, helping them stay active and engaged, serving them great meals, and facilitating a variety of activities. You routinely came into our communities and home offices ready to further strengthen the trust-based relationships we have forged with our customers and fellow team members. You provided peace of mind and created unique meaningful moments that define the Sunrise experience.
As we mark this pandemic milestone, I could not be more grateful to each of you for bringing your whole selves to work and staying focused on our mission to champion quality of life for all seniors. Your unwavering commitment and resilience is to be commended. While we are hopeful that the COVID-19 pandemic will soon be in our rearview mirror, I am beyond excited for Sunrise’s bright future as we continue to grow and adapt to meet the needs and expectations of current and future Sunrise families for decades to come. None of this is possible, however, without this incredible team of serving hearts. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. It is an honor of my lifetime to serve alongside you.
With Gratitude,
Jack R. Callison, Jr.
Sunrise Chief Executive Officer
